Site Coordinator (Full-Time)
Exciting opportunity to work with high-risk youth to motivate them to be successful in school and assist them in developing and improving their social skills & behavioral health. The Site Coordinator (SC) is responsible for assisting the Youth Director (YD) in the administrative and programmatic operations of the youth program; assisting the (YD) in developing and implementing outcome measurement as well as collecting, entering and reporting data and writing reports for funding sources; recruiting program participants; providing case management; and supervising group leaders, interns and volunteers. Coordinates services with the students’ families, schools and other service providers including DCF and the juvenile justice system. Actively participates in community groups relating to youth.
Bachelor’s Degree required (Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Adolescent Development, Psychology or related field preferred); minimum of 6 college credits or equivalent EEC approved professional development in early childhood education, elementary education, adolescent development, psychology, or a related field and a minimum of 1 year experience with high-risk youth required. Knowledge of community resources in Boston including schools, DCF and juvenile justice system required. Must have strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work independently.
