SUMMARY:
To develop, initiate, direct, monitor and evaluate program initiatives,
data, policies and procedures to improve statewide service delivery and
service access for minority populations to culturally and linguistically
competent children’s behavioral health service providers, and to address
behavioral health disparities and promote health equity.
Work in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders and Department
officials to lead behavioral health cultural and linguistic competence
efforts.
This position reports directly to the Director of the Office of Minority
Health and Refugee Affairs.
This position is full-time temporary, funded by the SAMHSA System of Care
Implementation Grant, ending September 2016

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master’s/Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience: Four/Five years’ professional experience in either behavioral
health, public health, social work, education, human services AND/OR with
minority or underserved populations, with responsibilities in program
research, planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
